One thing that I like talking to people about is the gear that we use. Over the years I've been lucky enough to share the stage with some pretty big names in music so I've gotten to use all kinds of equipment from low level to high end. Of course, you always want to have the best equipment possible but you can only use what you can afford right? Well the good thing is that there are a lot of companies out there who make top quality equipment at relatively low prices.
For me, Shure Microphones are the way to go for superior vocal quality. You just can't beat Shure's quality and price. For about $50 you can get the sm58 microphone. This microphone has been the mainstay for many artists both on stage as well as in the studio. Not only do you get crystal clear vocals but you get durability as well. I've been using the sm58 for years and even though there are other, more expensive microphones out there, you just can't beat the sm58. Whether you're just starting out or you've been playing for years, the sm58 is the right microphone for the job with an inexpensive price tag and a durability that will last you for years. For more info, you can check out www.shure.com.
Don't forget to check out www.youtube.com for more equipment reviews and whenever you watch a video we ask that you please leave a comment and... RATE! RATE! RATE! See ya'll later!

Live at The Cavalier Lounge
The Voodoo Cowboys rocked The Cavalier Lounge all night long Friday night. It was a hot night and got even hotter. The dance floor was full, the drinks were flowing and the music was rockin. At one point the favorite Cavalier barkeep, Shawna, came up on stage and gave an arousing rendition of "Stormy Monday" with the Voodoo Cowboys. That is when things REALLY heated up.
