Sam Ash Steps Up For Las Vegas Musicians

Black Door Bar & Grill Grand Opening

It must be a good indication that Las Vegas is bouncing back from the worst economy in the history of Las Vegas when a new club opens right?
I was fortunate enough to attend the grand openning Saturday night of The Black Door Bar & Grill. It's the concept of Nico Santucci and Dave Navarro. It was a star studded event - complete with walking the black carpet in lieu of a red carpet through the gauntlet of photogs snapping away. As with every Las Vegas club opening, there was a snake lady, pole dancers, the Beacher's Madhouse Midgets, and Ron Jeremy. After all, it is not a Vegas club opening without porn stars.

The club it's self is small however, I liked the plush purple and black rock and roll vibe of the room along with candles flickering giving it an intimate feel regardless that the music was blaring on 107 decibels.

The Black Door will have live entertainement and will be the venue for the kick off of the new CUI: Comic Under The Influence on June 10th at 11pm brought to you by Eddie Rivkin and E7 Entertainment along with Sin City Whiskey. This show is not for the faint of heart!!! If you like your comedy Smart and RAW and XXX then this show is just for you!!!

The Black Door's menu boast a menu fit for a rock star with everything named after rock stars - although no food was served at the opening. The Black Door Bar & Grill is open from Tuesday to Sunday.

Cowboys Kick Off Whiskey Wednesdays at The Sand Dollar Lounge

The Voodoo Cowboys will be rocking the legendary Sand Dollar. The Sand Dollar has been a staple in the Las Vegas Live Blues music scene for many years. They are under new ownership and are having The Voodoo Cowboys to kick off their Whiskey Wednesdays.

There will be Rockin’ Country and Blues music that only The Voodoo Cowboys can provide, Jack Daniels Drink Specials, $20 Bottomless Draft Beers, Billiards, and a cool atmosphere.

Shoot pool, Play Video Poker, Dancing, and Rocking out with the Voodoo Cowboys~!!!!
