Steve.drums200x300

Steve began playing professionally on the East Tennessee club circuit at age 13, hauling his gear from gig to gig in friend's vans or his Mom's AMC Pacer. His love of music and drumming led him to try his hand at other genres other than Southern Rock and Blues. This led to gigs with Comedian/Country/Gospel artist "Archie Campbell" and a year with "The Hagar Twins", both of "Hee-Haw" TV fame.
At age 17, he joined local, original music/indie heroes, "Balboa", and moved to the New York/New Jersey area playing legendary clubs CBGB's, Cartoon Alley and others. After leaving "Balboa", he returned to Knoxville and joined Punk/New Wavers, "Candy Creme and the Wet Dream", and was featured in "Oui" Men's Magazine's, 1982 "Girls Of The Worlds Fair" edition. Steve continued his musical journey, playing on the road with "Magazine", an '80s Dance/Rock band and "The Fabulous Blair Brothers", a 9-piece Motown/R&B Show Band that had the good fortune to open for "Ray Charles", "Tony Orlando and Dawn", "Marie Osmond", "Three Dog Night", "Sawyer Brown" and others, as well as pit orchestra Percussionist for several local theatre productions. In the late '90's, Steve was drummer for Dolly Parton's brother, Randy, for 4 years at Dollywood Theme Park and was substitute drummer for all shows on Park. Steve also performed with Dolly and other Parton family members as well. He moved to Las Vegas in 2002.
